The Collective is launching a new branch called the Masterclass. The Masterclass is a specialized course for intermediate and advanced students in specific areas of study, catering to very small cohorts.
They target a highly generalised audience. Instructors are brought onboard for as per consumer demand of the individual, to see the universal lessons that their unique careers can provide and the entertainment value of a true story told in HD production.

We are thrilled to introduce Shamaeel Ansari, one of Pakistan's most celebrated fashion designers, as a debut instructor for Masterclass Pakistan. With a career spanning over three decades, Shamaeel Ansari has become a leading figure in the Pakistani fashion industry, known for her luxurious bridal and formal wear that elegantly merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style.

The pointers below were kept in mind when making The Collective grid, keeping in mind the design principles and how to attract the audience’s attention

The grid uses a predominantly dark color scheme, with black as the background color for many of the posts, creating a unified and sophisticated look. The images of Shamaeel Ansari and the other elements are mostly in warm, natural tones that stand out against the dark background.

Red is used sparingly as an accent color in the typography and lines, which helps draw attention and adds vibrancy without overwhelming the viewer. The combination of black, white, and red is classic and effective for creating contrast and emphasizing key messages.

The designer uses different font weights and sizes to create a visual hierarchy. For example, key words such as “EXPERTS,” “CELEBS,” “ENTREPRENEURS,” and “SHAMAEEL ANSARI” are in larger, bold fonts, drawing immediate attention. Subtitles or supporting text are in smaller fonts, guiding the viewer’s eyes through the message in the intended order.

The designer has intentionally created a pathway for the viewer’s eye to follow across the grid. The use of horizontal and vertical lines (both real, like the red lines, and implied, through the alignment of text and images) directs attention from one image to the next, ensuring a cohesive viewing experience.

The typography is clean and bold, using modern sans-serif fonts that are easy to read. This choice helps convey professionalism and clarity.

The grid makes effective use of negative space (black areas without any text or imagery), which helps to highlight the images and text, allowing each element to stand out and breathe.
